about me : I live part of the year in various locations such as Los Angeles, where I work on my writing, my artwork, and on other projects, such as the Interactive Sculpture Project, house painting, roofing, carpentry, waiting tables, and part of the year in Yellowstone.

I am particularly interested in colaboration, and have worked with many artists.

My screenplay "GREY PROPAGANDA" won Honorary Mention in the Holman Screenplay Writing Contest at Wichita State University, in 2002.

I have written many art statements for shows that I have curated. I am also an artist working in oils, found objects, and mixed-media. I have had exhibitions of my work, and participated in, and curated group shows in Southern Illinois; Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Missoula, Montana; and Yellowstone National Park. I have read in, as well as run many poetry readings at cafes and galleries. My most recent exhibits were my solo exhibition SYNCHRONIC ALCHEMY, and group shows which I also curated MIXED MEDIA, MIXED MESSAGE, and most recently THE DAPHNE, OR METAMORPHOSIS PROJECT at Gallery 414 in Wichita, KS. Art Statements are also available at www.kenboe.com.

I have also worked as a Dining Room Manager in Yellowstone National Park, as well as Bellhop at The Old Faithful Inn. I've worked in many different park locations, including as a server at The Grand Canyon's El Tovar, and Death Valley National Park.
