artist's statement:
My favorite subject is the human psyche, whether it be a state of mind, a revelation, a relationship, a degeneration—the possibilities are as limitless as humankind is complex. My favorite medium to express this topic is the human form. Even when the figure itself does not appear to be present, each piece is composed with the language of the body in mind, and the subjects relate in the same manner.

about the artist
Misha Flores is an emerging painter and photographer with a B.F.A. in painting from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. Born in St. Louis, she currently resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She has shown in galleries and art centers between Dallas and Oklahoma, and has won awards at juried exhibitions in the region.
